Herff Jones; one of the largest manufacturers of school yearbooks, has recently installed 9 Side Air Assist units in four of their plants bringing the total to 11 units. Operators and supervisors are stating that there is 70% less labor for operators and a 20% increase in production. More units may possibly be put in place soon.

The SAA Side Air Assist eases your continuous feed folding operation right where it starts, on the feeder table. Perfect for heavily coated, aqueous, or UV stock. Enjoy speed and efficiency by reducing miss-feeds, jamming and “stock sticking”. Physical operator stress can be lowered Significantly! The SAA injects high volume air between sheets prior to fanning stock. Sensors detecting stock being loaded will continually follow paper.
